Robin Zeng

Zeng is the founder and chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), one of the world’s largest suppliers of batteries for electric vehicles. CATL, which listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2018, has clients such as BMW, Volkswagen and Geely. Zeng holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. CATL is headquartered in Zeng’s hometown of Ningde in Fujian Province.
